This is a fossil Ammonite shell that has been inlaid with small pieces of Turquoise. A very labor intensive process! It creates a beautiful colored spiral highlighting the shell.
I created a sterling silver setting for the stone with a roller printed pattern on the back that reminds me of the ocean where the shell once lived. There is a beaded frame and a scalloped bezel.
The pendant hangs from an 18" silver chain with a lobster clasp.
