Orion is a prominent constellation located on the celestial equator and visible throughout the world. It is one of the most conspicuous and recognizable constellations in the night sky. It was named after Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology. Its brightest stars are the supergiants: blue-white Rigel (Beta Orionis) and red Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis).
I created this pendant out of very thick sterling silver and hand cut out the oval shape. I then set gemstones as the main stars. The blue star Rigel is a Sapphire, as well as the red star Betelgeuse. The belt is made up of three white cubic zirconias. There are some stars stamped on the back side, because stars are everywhere, right?
The pendant is about 3/4" high (21mm) and 1-1/4" (32mm) wide.
It comes on an 18" silver chain with a silver lobster clasp.
