These are created by using silver in a shot plate that has been carved with an Acanthus leaf. The acanthus leaf has been used for decoration in architecture for thousands of years. Acanthus symbolizes immortality in Mediterranean countries.
These are about 3/8" (9mm) at long at their widest point. They are solid 14K Rose gold with a silver post and nut.
Rose gold has been alloyed with copper to give it a soft pink color. These are also available in Sterling Silver and .14K yellow Gold
