14K Gold Victorian Snake ring

A traditional Victorian serpent ring to wrap around your finger.

This ring was created using a vintage jewelry die that was in production at the turn of the 1900's.
The process takes several steps of heating the gold up and pressing it into a mold. I do this several times to get a good impression. I then saw the snake out and shape it for a finger.

The snake is solid 14K yellow gold and is an open ended ring. It's a thick and sturdy band, quite substantial.

Each one is shaped by hand, so there is a little variety in the curves depending on the size of the ring.
