I set the Ammonite in sterling silver that was given a leaf pattern roller printed on the back side. There is a bead wire frame around the setting to add more detail.
The hand and hook clasp was made by using a vintage jewelry die. These dies were hand carved over one hundred years ago! It’s now been given a new life to make jewelry today. Sterling silver is pressed into the die and then sawed out by hand.
The silver chain matches the twisted rope theme and is 20” long. With the hand, it’s 21” in length, about 24” if you include the pendant.
